"Fireworks off Lilly the Big Yellow Duck’s raft was the ‘lift-off’ for the spectacular Illuminated Boat Parade on Saturday evening, which saw a flotilla of 40+ decorated boats sail upstream from Fawley Meadows to Henley bridge."

“What a wonderful evening; the standard of entry was superbly high. We need more categories if we do this next year. So many worthy contenders. Sorry if you didn’t win! And what a marvellous atmosphere, the crowd were superb, joining in, applauding and cheering. We had many lovely comments from families saying what a fabulous gentle family event. It was quite ethereal and magical. A Big thanks to all. The event has been privately funded by a few generous locals. To help make this an annual event, please donate whatever you can to https://www.illuminatedparade.com/donate”

“I didn’t know what to expect. Not having been a judge at the illuminated parade before, I was blown away by so much effort, the lighting, the choreography, the dancing. It really was a fantastic event and it’s just so good for Henley. It can only get bigger and bigger.”
Henley Mayor Councillor Sarah Miller was one of the judges and gave out the organisers’ award.
''Many boats were decorated with different themes including Barbie, James Bond, a winter wonderland with penguins and a polar bear, pirates and an RAF “plane” complete with a light-up propellor and wings on either side.''
Great event and important support for the Parade’s chosen charities. Looking forward to next year’s spectacle already!

A splendid and magical event. Well done, happy to contribute to help make this a regular annual event. One of the nicest, gentlest evening of the year for all the family.
